FKACO established its label and merchant distribution in 2012 as FORMERLY KNOWN AS Company. Launching officially in 2013. Quickly becoming one of America’s fastest-growing independent music and video distributors. Jumpstarting with Merlin and Consolidated Independent, both two European powerhouses at the time.
The FKA catalog grew to over 30 albums in 2014-15 in the international market. Garneshing its European label code, 40048.
FKACO/FKA became an intricate resource for upstart Independent artists and labels stateside and abroad. From handshake agreements to exclusive contracts. FKACO established and maintained several key corporate relationships with different partners in retail, radio, and distribution. Effectively marketing and placing music globally.
With 2 locations strategically based on the East and West coast of the United States. FKACO (est. 2012) and Audocs (est. 2008) combined forces for innovative approaches to music-product placement until 2018.
The broad list of retail and corporate establishments who received content from FKACO included several DSPs, Amoeba Records, Saks, Bebe, Coach, Kenith Cole, Gucci, Guess, J Crew, Levis, Liz Claiborne, Nautica, Vans, Applebees, Burger King, Chick-fil-A, Jamba Juice, Mcdonalds, Olive Garden, Pizza Hut, Wendy's, Golds Gym, Hard Rock Hotels, MGM, Adidas, Reebok, Foot Locker, and Borders.
Relaunched by Athar in 2022 as a music-logistics company, FKACO pulled out its back catalog and now makes it available at ORNG under the monicker FORM.
